I created One Companion Dog Training with one single purpose in mind: to help anyone who welcomes a dog into their home have a true canine companion.
My goal is simple, after our time training together, I never want you to need another trainer ever again.

ABOUT ME
Hey Friends,
I started One Companion L.L.C. after hearing countless dog owners complain about their "annoying dog". It was so saddening to see countless people, who at one point welcomed a dog into their home, quickly think of them as a burden. And when I asked if they ever thought about training, the same words "it's just too expensive," would be echoed.
My goal is to help people build their relationships with their dogs and uncover the companionship that lies within; at a price that an everyday person can afford. Because after all, that's who has dogs right? The everyday person, just looking for a companion.
I'm going to show you how to really communicate with your dog and leave you with an understanding of dog training that will free you from the worry of ever needing another trainer again.

PUPPY MANNERS FOUNDATION
Personalized and Professional
(Four Months and Under)
Here you and your puppy will build the fundamental skills; the foundation for the perfect companion. But MOST importantly, you will leave with a fundamental and conceptual understanding of how dogs learn.
Common problem-behaviors like jumping, leash reactivity, nipping, destructive play, and so on, can largely be prevented with proactive training in the puppy stages. In addition to proactively addressing common problems, you'll also learn how to build your pups confidence; an essential part of raising a puppy.
This will not just help you build an everlasting bond between you and your pup, but also set the stage for much easier obedience training.
FUNDAMENTAL OBEDIENCE
Learning The Basic Commands
Ok, so your pup's no longer a pup, now what?
In obedience training your dog will learn the six essential commands that all household canine companions should have:
-Sit
-Stay
-Come
-Heel
-Leave it
-Drop it
Equipped with these commands, you'll see a marked difference in your dog's demeanor, and feel a much closer bond to your canine.
The most important thing that you'll get from obedience training is a basic understanding of how all dog training works; the methods, the tools, and how to establish communication.
My goal after basic obedience training is for you to be able to have dogs for the rest of your life and never need another trainer again.
WALKING
Stop The Pulling!
Are you tired of your dog taking you for your daily pull? Walking lessons are simply for those who want to be able to experience the joy of going for a refreshing walk, with your canine companion right at your side.
Here we'll work on mastering the walk, breaking down what the problem(s) is/are, and how we're going to fix it.
Trust me, there's nothing quite like walking in sync with your dog.

Here we address problems specific to your dog. Whether it's dealing with aggression, anxiety, or reacting to other dogs on the leash, there's almost never a dog that's too far gone.
E-COLLAR/OFF LEASH TRAINING
It's not a shock collar!
The ecollar is truly one of the most useful, yet misunderstood tools in dog training. When taught properly, it's a wireless leash—a cell phone between you and your dog. That's it. And the fact is, an ecollar is the only safe and responsible way to enjoy off-leash activities with your dog.

With everything going on in the world today, we understand that not everyone is able to leave their homes. However, with the technology available to us we're able to do simple training and Q&A sessions without you having to leave your home.
We're happy to offer virtual services at a low cost to accommodate your needs.
